-------

Dear colleague,

The Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) will co-organise the 3rd International Workshop on Medical Radioisotopes Supply at the NEA headquarters in Boulogne-Billancourt, located in the Paris metropolitan area, on 9-10 April 2026. We invite you to join this event, which will gather government decision-makers, private sector representatives, health organisations, and researchers to chart the development of secure supply chains for conventional and innovative nuclear radioisotopes in the medical field. The event builds on the success of the first two editions of the International Workshop on Medical Radioisotopes Supply organised by the NEA, which brought together a large number of subject matter experts (SME) as in-person attendees and online participants for engaging discussions.

Given the evolving landscape on both the production and utilisation sides, this year’s workshop will focus on key topics such as the challenges and opportunities associated with Lu-177, Ac-225 and other novel medical radioisotopes, strengthening the medical radioisotope supply chain’s resiliency through monitoring supply and demand, and critical infrastructure needs across medical systems. Please see the attached preliminary programme for further details about the workshop.

To register for this event, please complete and submit the form via this link: http://www.oecdnea.org/confdb/confdb/conf?id=1226

If you have any further questions, please contact us at medical_isotopes@oecd-nea.org.

Best wishes,
