Colleagues,
Thank you for your interest and support to the AOFNMB this year. We are really
glad to finish 2018 with great success in many activities. In April, the 5th Asia
Nuclear Medicine Board (ANMB) Examination was held during the 12th
World Congress of the World Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology (WFNMB)
in Melbourne, Australia. 23 Young investigators awarded the certificate of
FANMB (Fellow of Asian Nuclear Medicine Board), and 8 of them became the first
winner of the AOFNMB travel grant which was established this year. We are very
proud of the new generation and look forward to their activity as a nuclear
medicine specialist to lead our society.
Next year, the 13th Asia Oceania Congress of Nuclear Medicine and Biology
(AOCNMB 2019) will be held in Shanghai, China from May 9 to 12, 2019. We have
no doubt that the congress will be a great success. We hope to see all of you
at the upcoming event.
Once again, in warm appreciation of our society during the past year, we extend
our very best wishes for a happy and peaceful holiday season in your societies
and families.
