Third Announcement It was announced by the IAEA that all the participants who attend the Workshop above will receive the certificate recognized worldwide, essential for their maintenance of professional certification as follows; *** Dear Prof Hatazawa On behalf of MR SHAKHASHIRO, Abdulghani (PMO) and myself, After fulfilling the rigorous requirements of the European Union of Medical Specialists EACCME - European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, We are happy to announce that the IAEA RAS6078 Workshop: Nuclear Medicine Techniques in Neurological Diseases: Emphasis on Oncology and Neurology (ICNMP-PA) to be held in Osaka, Japan from 23.–27.05.2016 was granted 26 European CME credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). A CME activity is accredited by UEMS-EACCME® if it has a high quality scientific content, if it is free of commercial bias and has an appropriate educational approach. CME accreditation granted by the UEMS-EACCME® also provides a guarantee to participants from all over the world that the content of the CME provided is of a high quality, unbiased and didactic and, for medical specialists, that this quality will be recognized in their home country (if applicable). As you aware, The American Medical Association (AMA) has an agreement of mutual recognition of continuing medical education (CME) credit with the European Union of Medical Specialties (UEMS) and physicians (MDs, DOs or equivalent international degree) may have their EACCME European CME Credits (ECMECs) converted to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ . This initiative is the first time that a TC related live educational event (Meeting/Workshop) is given CME accreditation.
