On behalf of the Asian Regional Cooperative Council for Nuclear Medicine (ARCCNM), I am pleased to announce the 13th Annual General Meeting of the ARCCNM held in Osaka International Convention Center, Osaka, Japan on 5th and 6th November 2014 in conjunction with the 4th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Asian Society of Nuclear Medicine Technology (ASNMT), the 54th Annual Scientific Meeting of Japanese Society of Nuclear Medicine (JSNM), and the 34th Annual General Meeting of Japanese Society of Nuclear Medicine Technology (JSNMT). The program consists of Special Lecture by Prof. Myung Chul Lee (the Founder of ARCCNM), continuous education session, exhibition of medical imaging devices, scientific presentations, short tour to innovative PET Imaging Center, and Get-Together Party. The registration fee is exemplified for the participants who will submit the abstract of their own work with the support of JSNM. The hotel accommodation for three nights (4th, 5th, and 6th November 2014) is also provided by the Organizer of ARCCNM 2014 under the support of JSNM. Call for abstract is soon open in the Web-site of the ARCCNM and the 54th Annual Scientific Meeting of JSNM. Prior to the 13th AGM of the ARCCNM, the Board of the ARCCNM is planning the first Asian Nuclear Medicine Board examination to entitle a successful candidate “Fellow of Asian Nuclear Medicine Board (FANMB)”. The ANMB examination is held in Nakanoshima Center of Osaka University on 4th November 2014. The information in detail is announced in the Web-site of the ARCCNM/AOFNMB soon. In the National Delegates Meeting held on 6th November, a number of important issues will be discussed. New structure of the ARCCNM, budget, membership, and a plan of Asian School of Nuclear Medicine Campus are the topics. Sustainable education and training of nuclear medicine in Asia is our mission. I would like to invite all of the national delegates from member countries and regions to create the plat form to realize our dream. The representatives of Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI), European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM), World Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology (WFNMB), and World Association of Radiopharmaceutical and molecular Therapy (WARMTH) are also attending our meeting. Osaka was an ancient capital city of Japan. It is now known as a city of dainty. I would be honored and delighted to welcoming all of you to Osaka in November 2014.
